Roman Borboa
Change and Development
Ph. D. University of Arizona

Roman Borboa is the main principal of Borboa & Partners. His areas of special interest are change and development processes in small and large systems. He has written various articles on those subjects.

Dr. Borboa is a Swiss and Mexican citizen who completed his graduate education in the USA. He moved to Zurich, Switzerland in order to work for General Motors Europe as a manager in Organization Development and Training. He actively participated in the creation and deployment of various international components of the Organization Development and Education strategies, such as GM Europe Training System and the Quality Network Process. He has been operative in the GM Europe Executive Programs, Executive Roles and Performance Consortium, The Inter-European Education and Training Initiatives, and many others.

Today, Dr. Borboa is an active consultant in organization as well as in management and leadership development and project consulting with a number of international companies. His clients, and some of his work, include among others:


Financial Institution: Reinforcement and introduction of new culture to employees through the creation and introduction of the UBS Officers Seminar.

Global Manufacturing Companies: Design and implementation of various organizational instruments to facilitate the introduction of new core competencies into the organization: Assessment center, Manufacturing Team Training, Quality Problem Solving, Leaders Development, etc.

Information Technology Firm: Design and facilitation of their internal communication process: Dialogue.

Retail Industry: Design and introduction of their management development process.

Telecomunications : Design and implementation of Team Development Processes and internal Tank Shop (creative business meetings).

Tobacco Industry: Consulting, design, launching and analysis of the company�s International Assignee Customer Satisfaction Survey as a product and service delivered to up to 300 international assignees.

Dr. Borboa�s clients and assignments have spanned industrial and service industries. He has carried assignments in Europe, North America, and Latin America.

Dr. Borboa earned a Ph.D. in Counseling and Environmental Psychology from the University of Arizona at Tucson. He has served on the City University of Bellevue, WA as a faculty and Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Management Professions as well as the Graduate School of Human Services and Applied Behavioral Sciences. Today, he is president of the board for the Swiss Society of Individual Psychology.

 

B�atrice Borboa - Z�rrer
Development & Psychotherapy

Ms. Beatrice Borboa-Z�rrer is the co-principal of Borboa & Partners. Her areas of special interest are Team and Individual Development and their processes. She has done various presentations in these areas.  

Ms. Borboa-Z�rer is a Swiss citizen who completed her graduate education in the USA. After her return to Switzerland she opened her counseling practice in order to consult with small and large systems.

Ms. Borboa-Z�rer has done extensive work with individuals, couples and families, including expatriate units. She has developed cross cultural competencies, which allow her to work in foreign languages like German, English and Spanish.  She also has worked out a coaching system to assist people in their learning processes related to team and personal growth.

Ms. Beatrice Borboa-Z�rrer is also a licensed therapist in Kanton Z�rich (member of the Schweizer Psychotherapeuten-Verband) where she holds credentials, which allow her to work with people who need more support in their developmental phases than usual. This permits her to work along with health insurance companies that reimburse a part of services delivered to her clients.

 Today, Ms. Borboa-Z�rrer runs her own psychological private practice and is as well an active consultant in behavioral settings, co-facilitating along with Dr. Roman Borboa in various organizational processes like management and leadership development as well as in culture change projects in  national and international settings. Some of her clients are listed under Dr. Borboa's information as well.

 Ms. Borboa- Z�rrer earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and French literature at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She decided to focus on human processes and shifted her studies to the Counseling area, earning a master's degree  specializing then in small and large human systems. She has served on various public projects and today she is a member of the board for the Frauenlobby Limmattal in Kanton Z�rich.
